MESSAGE FROM CHAIRMAN
The mission of this institution for spreading higher education in different parts of the state, providing access to higher education especially to weaker and vulnerable section of the society providing different skill enhancing and job oriented education cum training programmes, walking education affordable even to the most disadvantaged segment of the society.
Lastly I welcome all the new entrants to this institution and I promise to provide them all facilities needed for a good teachers training programme who will produce the builders of nation in near future.

MESSAGE FROM SECRETARY
Feeling the need to impart vocational training among the educated youth in this rural area, we had a mission set in our mind to establish a teachers’ training institute in this area and thanks to all other members of our association for their support and co-operation that we have been able to reach to our destination within a very short span of time. The aim of this institution is to enrich the youth especially of the rural belt belonging to the weaker sections of the society with the fruit of education. In this highly competitive educational era the need of vocational training has become a must as it leads the youth to frame a brighter future accessing them to government jobs in the educational sector. Keeping in view the financial crisis of the lower income group we have had special provisions for them. In totality Damodar Valley Teachers’ Training College is such a kind of institution which is accessible to one and all.
I heartily welcome all the new apprentices to our institution.
